Dalaman Airport to Fethiye
Central Fethiye, Çalış and the Ölüdeniz area need different arrival addresses. Choose the area where you will stay.

Köyceğiz town sits by its lake, while the district also contains Sultaniye on another shore, seaside Ekincik and inland Toparlar. Those names can appear on one accommodation search, but they are not interchangeable car destinations. Decide which one is the first stop after the flight before arranging the rest of the visit. For Sultaniye, distinguish a road arrival from a later boat crossing; an Ekincik seaside booking needs its own address, not the lake promenade pin.

View the driving route ↗The Muğla tourism office places Köyceğiz town north of its namesake lake and distinguishes the district from neighbouring Ortaca and Dalaman. A transfer ending in Ortaca or Dalyan is not a trip to the Köyceğiz lakefront. At Dalaman Airport, use the transport information from DHMİ to compare options, then give the actual town property if that is where the group will sleep. Flight number, arrival date and passenger count help frame a car request; they do not replace the destination address. If some companions are continuing to Ekincik or Sultaniye, decide whether the town is a shared stop or whether the group needs separate onward journeys.
The municipality and tourism authority describe Köyceğiz Lake as the town's defining waterfront. A request that says 'by the lake' may refer to a promenade, restaurant, pier or hotel street. Its vehicle entrance can be away from the water, so the accommodation confirmation is a better endpoint than a scenic map marker. The district contains named neighbourhoods such as Gülpınar, Ulucami and Toparlar; none should be silently replaced with the lake's centre point. If bags will first go to a hotel and the evening is for the waterfront, plan the hotel drop-off first. A boat outing on the lake begins separately from the airport car.
MUTTAŞ's 48-26 airport-departure stop list places Köyceğiz Eser Durağı on the D400 after Ortaca Yücelen Hospital and before Gökova Junction. A stop named for Köyceğiz on the main road is not the door of a lakeside hotel or a Sultaniye or Ekincik address. The same operator page uses ‘Köyceğiz Örnek market’ in its separate note about the Marmaris-to-airport journey; do not treat that wording and Eser Durağı as interchangeable without checking with MUTTAŞ. If considering the coach after a flight, confirm the current airport-origin service and its actual Köyceğiz alighting point with the operator, then compare that point with your accommodation entrance and plan the remaining leg. Its airport-origin times can vary with flight arrivals; the page specifically mentions domestic arrivals, so do not assume it meets every international flight. For a direct taxi enquiry, send the full lakeside or village address rather than the coach stop unless the stop is genuinely where you need to go.
Official tourism and municipal guides place Sultaniye thermal springs away from Köyceğiz town. The municipality gives a road approach via Hamitköy and also describes boats from Köyceğiz, Dalyan and Ekincik. A boat landing and a road-side entrance are different endpoints; state which one your plan uses before leaving the airport. If you will sleep at the lakefront and visit Sultaniye on another day, do not substitute the thermal-spring name for the lodging address. Before going, check current admission and boat arrangements; if the visit follows a hotel check-in, keep the hotel drop-off and the pier in the right order.
Ekincik is a coastal neighbourhood and bay in the Köyceğiz district, not a lakefront street in town. The municipality describes a road from Köyceğiz through Hamitköy to the bay and a separate branch towards Sultaniye. The beach, small accommodation properties and boat pier at Ekincik can each be a different final point. If your reservation says Ekincik, use that property's entrance rather than the Köyceğiz promenade. If you first want to check in by the lake and later visit the sea, treat the bay as a distinct excursion. A boat trip from Ekincik toward Dalyan does not make the two road destinations identical.
Muğla's tourism directorate describes Toparlar Waterfall within Toparlar neighbourhood, with a walking approach after leaving the Köyceğiz–Muğla road. The same guide places Yuvarlak Çay away from Köyceğiz town and describes several riverside restaurants there. They are two different outing areas, not alternate names for one waterfall. If the waterfall is your intended visit, identify the current land-side starting point for its walking section; a waterfall pin does not mean a car can continue along the path. If you mean a particular Yuvarlakçay restaurant or riverside meeting place, obtain that venue's own name and road arrival point before setting the airport destination. A generic stream marker does not identify one restaurant entrance. For accommodation in Toparlar, use the property's actual address; neither attraction name is a substitute for it. Check present access and venue details before travelling rather than assuming that the tourism description confirms a business is open.
The flight home may start in Köyceğiz town, Sultaniye, Ekincik or Toparlar depending on the final night's lodging. Do not reuse the lakefront drop-off if the party has moved to the sea or a rural property. Share the departing flight date and number, the precise pickup entrance and whether luggage must be collected from another address. Check the airline's current check-in rules before settling the departure plan. If a lake boat trip or thermal visit is planned on the same day, finish its own land return first and treat it as an additional activity. The car journey and a boat timetable should be coordinated deliberately, not inferred from one map pin.
No. It is another shore destination in the district, reachable by road or a separately arranged boat. Use the actual road address for a car.
No. Ekincik is a sea bay; a hotel there needs its own endpoint, separate from the lake town.
Use the entrance of your final night's lodging, plus departing flight details, even if the arrival stopped somewhere else.
